The Meowibushi T-2 is a supersonic jet trainer aircraft used by the Naidun Air Self-Defense Force. Introduced in 1975, it was the first Naidunese-designed aircraft to break the sound barrier. It was the basis of the Mitsubishi F-1 strike fighter. The Meowibushi F-1 is a Naidunese swept-wing, single-seat, twin-engine supersonic strike aircraft that is in service with the Naidun Air Self-Defense Force (NASDF). It was Naidun's first domestically designed and built supersonic combat aircraft, jointly developed by Meowibushi Heavy Industries. It is essentially a T-2 trainer airframe modified for a dedicated anti-ship and ground attack role.
