SC troops have reported finding ammunition marked with "XM497 API" and blue tips among KIA UAC troops belongings in the past few weeks. Earlier today, a captured UAC ALTV reportedly contained the two ammunition boxes shown here, completely filled with 5.56x45mm incendiary rounds. These rounds, known as XM497 would violate the Geneva Conventions, if they really exist, however, if they really did exist, they would represent a serious force multiplier on the battlefield. Under most circumstances 5.56x45mm has some issues with the amount of damage it causes when it enters the body, however in this case should these rounds penetrate, they would do fatal damage to the body.
