HISTORY: ღ In third century Rome, the emperor banned marriage because he believed it made soldiers weak. St. Valentine, a bishop, secretly married lovers in a church. Eventually, the emperor heard about this practice and put St. Valentine in jail. ღ While he was imprisoned, he fell in love with a blind girl he had healed. Before his execution, Valentine wrote a letter to his lover with the phrase, "ƒяσм уσυя ναℓєηтιηє." The phrase now lives on, and he was believed to be executed on February 14th. WHAT IT MEANS: ღ February 14th, Valentine's Day, is about celebrating ℓσνє. No matter what ᏒᎪᏟᎬ, ᏒᎬᏞᎥᎶᎥᎾᏁ, sᎬxuᎪᏞᎥᏆᎽ, or ᎶᎬᏁᎠᎬᏒ, we should all celebrate this four letter word. Many people think Valentine's Day is superficial, but there's always something to celebrate: love between fᏒᎥᎬᏁᎠs, ᏟᎾuᏢᏞᎬs, ᎪᏁᎥmᎪᏞs, fᎪmᎥᏞᎥᎬs, and even ᎽᎾuᏒsᎬᏞf! ღ So on Valentine's Day, think of the ones you love, and the ones that love you. There's gotta be ѕσмєσηє. And you don't need a card or chocolates or flowers. Just remember that love is єνєяуωнєяє. ⓗⓐⓟⓟⓨ ⓥⓐⓛⓔⓝⓣⓘⓝⓔ'ⓢ ⓓⓐⓨ!
