Disclaimer:] Do not harass anyone who does these "Do you like/hate...?" projects. This is just me theorizing how these projects go down. You know these types of projects, they're everywhere. But I think people who at least use these at least once take this to an advantage: The option they want you to pick as the star. This is because the star basically stands for "I love this!", while the heart is just like "Its good, but I don't truly like it". This also has another factor: More views, since starred projects can be seen on others profiles. The last thing is this also leads people to either give sympathy to them, or be a menace.
