As Oliver now understood what was causing Imposter Shadow's pain, he knew that he had to get some help. He reached out to Shadow and Sonic, saying that he knows who is willing to help with the issue of Dr. Eggman's possession over Imposter Shadow. The trio agreed to follow Oliver, knowing that he is always full of great ideas. The group traveled to a world that seemed to be full of white blankets of snow and ice. Upon the mountains of the world was a massive, intimidating castle. Sonic recognized the castle instantly and got bad chills down his spine. Shadow and Imposter Shadow didn't really seem to mind the location at all. Oliver entered the ice castle along with Shadow, Sonic and Imposter Shadow. "Listen, I need your help, Ice Queen! Please come out now!" Oliver shouted, wanting to let the owner of the castle know that he was here and was asking a favor. Before Shadow, Sonic and Imposter Shadow could react, they instantly felt a brutally cold wisp of air blow past them. "Oh no, no, no. I'm outta here!" Sonic spoke, seeming to be extremely nervous. The palace doors slammed shut before Sonic could try and leave. Now, all of them were in plain darkness, cold and alone with each other. "Ice Queen, or...whoever is playing tricks on us, this isn't funny! We need help!" Shadow shouted with anger, losing his patience and is willing to be brave. Then, a chilling echo of laughter sounded in the room. And it was eccentrically psychotic. After a few minutes, the room got lit up by blue lights glowing from within the ice crystals on the walls. Sonic was filled with fear, Shadow was annoyed by all of this, and Imposter Shadow was...strangely calm about it all. Upon the throne made of solid ice was the Ice Queen known as Nova X. "My dear Oli! It's been a devastating while on how you finally came back to me." Nova X replied, sitting on her throne in a dramatic position. "Look, Nova. I need your help. My friends need you to fight Dr. Eggman with the rest of your servants-" "SERVANTS!" Shadow and Sonic shouted in shock at Oliver. This caught Nova's attention and she flew down from her high throne and landed directly in front of Shadow and Sonic. "Well well well, what do I have here, my dear?" Nova X cooed at both Shadow and Sonic. Sonic gulped and chuckled nervously. "Heh, hello Nova. Long time no see...?" Instantly from those words, she frowned in slight anger. "Oh...hello Sonic." Nova X snarled at Sonic, clearly not enjoying his presence. Then, she looked over at Shadow. She seemed to be a bit confused. "Didn't I end you along with Silver back in the Snowflake Desert Zone...?" Shadow stayed in absolute silence, not handling himself with that question. "Hm, a silent hog. Typical behavior for a Shadow like yourself, Ultimate Lifeform." Nova X smirked cunningly, touching his shoulder. The touch was...badly freezing. Shadow shuddered and moved away from Nova X in discomfort of her. Finally, she moved onto Imposter Shadow, who was still oddly calm. "You must be Oliver's boyfriend if I am NOT mistaken...he endlessly chatters to me a lot about you, my dear." Nova X replied softly, running her cold hand down Imposter Shadow's chest. He then moved her hand away from him. "Yes I am, and I have heard that you have your own little husband and child..." Imposter Shadow responded while he crossed his arms. "My my, someone who knows about me. Such a rare occurrence for someone who is not from my world." Nova then giggled as she moved away from Imposter Shadow and went to Oliver. Oliver then sighed, knowing that he would have to pay a deal with Nova X if he needed her help. Though, she shook her head and went over to the other three. Nova darkly smiled at Shadow and Sonic while she allowed Imposter Shadow to have no part in her offering price. "You two never knew about me, but I was once friends with you in the world I came from originally. However, I prayed hard that one of you would find me and save me from this cold place and you never did. So, you could tell that I have been here for many years and my sanity is sometimes not its best and in payment for having my sanity to return normal again, you must sell either half of your sanity or your entire soul to me." Nova X explained, sounding serious and made a dark chuckle in the end. Sonic glanced over at Shadow, clearly disturbed by how she is. Oliver could tell that Shadow and Sonic had to figure out what to do if they wanted some massive help from Nova X. She is more powerful than both of her parents, Lord X and Majin Sonic, due to their power becoming one greatly when she was born. "So, do we have a deal, Shadow and Sonic? Remember, no one matters to me except for us now..."
