Dreams-Abandon was founded by Despondence after he fled from Rising Dawn, the Jack was worried by the latter group’s increasing strength, and sought to create a community where cats could live in peace, without worrying about injury or sickness. Unfortunately for Despondence, due to Alabaster’s tales and propaganda, his group is seen as horrific and cruel by loners, and is generally loathed. Their camp lies within the interior of a large, rather intact old factory, which still has working electricity. Alongside this, they control the most bountiful hunting grounds in the city. There’s an unofficial tradition amongst the group’s cats- following after Despondence- to rename oneself after they have overcome a great challenge. Examples of such could be Unease (a cat who used to have extreme anxiety), Fury (a cat who formerly had anger issues), Vengeance (a cat who let go of an old grudge), or Sever (a cat who lost a limb, but learned to compensate. Not all cats do this.
