Instructions

I hate writing this, but you "remixers" who scrub my name out and put their own in it's place is not a good look... Please look at the code, learn from it, but don't pretend this is your work. You're just being dishonest. Forum discussion here: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/739760/ Best played in Turbowarp, 60fps, HQ Pen: https://turbowarp.org/975465731/fullscreen?fps=60&hqpen Controls are Arrow Keys or WADS at the moment You can set the difficulty however it is also dynamic so if you're not doing so well the cars ahead should slow down to help you out and the ones behind should speed up... This "kinda works!" but needs tweaking! Track editor instructions and discussion: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/798919/ Known bugs: * You can go backwards and forwards over the start line and win the race * Something a bit odd goes on when you cross the start line at the end of the race and you've recently been respotted * Lap doesn't count if you miss the start line Features yet to be implemented (must have): Mobile control option Wishlist stuff: Car tuning Championship mode Piles of tyres to drive through Improved AI 45deg roads Let me know how you get on.

A certain amount of digital editing was needed to clean it up. The colours of the car were scribbled in felt tip pens and photographed and then applied to the monochrome outline of the car. The road was drawn on a piece of paper. The grass and road was drawn separately and I turned these into seamless textures. Trees just drawn and photographed. Sounds are synthesised by me using a couple of synths. Speech is my voice. Music is all written by me trying to give it a 16-bit feel, keeping it to 4 channels of sound and 8 bit samples. Paint.net used as the graphical editor. #games #badlydrawn #racers #exciting #racing #cars #car
