The mountain formed over years, that's what everyone said, but they didn't know the creature behind it. Power surging from their tail, multicolored streaks bending and shaking over the starry sunset. They collapsed over the rocks and groaned. Everything was taken out of them. The wind whistled and the trees howled, their leafy canopies finally rested. They choked out raspy words and lifted their scarred head and short paws. The scratches and the gashes engulfed their tired body and they laid on the cliff, still in shock. As the tides rolled in on the warm sand, they heaved their body and breathed hard. In one blink, boulders crashed and fell on them, a piercing last scream to the island.
