I kinda headcanon Sunstreak to stand like a Kangaroo. I dunno, maybe the brain rot has consumed me. Name: Copper Tribes: Mud-Sky Physical description: Copper has dark reddish-brown and copper-colored scales with lighter tan under scales. He has a stocky MudWing body shape with strong, muscular limbs and SkyWing spikes and horns lining his head and neck. His wings are wide and powerful. His eyes are a brighter emerald green. Personality: Despite his intimidating appearance, Copper is gentle and thoughtful. He loves learning and spends hours reading scrolls about the world beyond the two tribes he descends from. Though shy at first, he opens up around those who share his intellectual curiosity. He does have a fiery temper when his sense of justice is provoked. Backstory: Neither the MudWings nor SkyWings fully accepted Copper due to his hybrid status, so he grew up feeling isolated and confused about his identity. He eventually found mentors among the Talons of Peace as well as a circle of hybrid friends. Now he wants to build greater acceptance for hybrids like himself in Pyrrhia. Family: His father, Pumice, is a bulky brown soldier, distrustful of Copper's hybrid status but sometimes show gruff tenderness once the dragonets sleep. His mother, Flare, is wistful and protective red SkyWing very opposite of Pumice in views, tries her hardest to nurture sensitive Copper and his younger half-sister, Ember. She is a natural born leader already outpacing Copper despite age, makes him question his place in life. Hobbies: Being fascinated by artifacts and talismans representing distant lands or rare hybrid examples in history, enjoys tinkering with animus objects; Inherited muscular build from MudWing lineage and aerial flexibility from SkyWings, being able to move with surprising speed and agility given bulk; Prone to getting lost in scrolls for days, forgetting meals when hot on research trail of obscure topic that caught curiosity others are below
Name: Dragonfly Tribes: Leaf-Hive Physical description: Dragonfly has bright emerald green scales with small leaf-shaped markings trailing down her sides and wings. She has glittering dragonfly-like wings. Her horns and spinal ridge are marbled black and yellow. Her eyes are a warm amber. Dragonfly loves to adorn herself with artful jewelry that reflects her creative, free-spirited nature. Her favorite piece is a necklace made of carved amber drops, connected by delicate gold chains that drape loosely around her neck. Personality: With an insatiable curiosity and a daring streak, Dragonfly flits eagerly from one interest to the next. She loves exploring new ideas almost as much as adventuring to new landscapes. Underneath her excitement though, she often privately struggles with loneliness. Backstory: Never fully belonging to either ancestral tribe, Dragonfly didn't grow up with strong community ties. So she learned from a young age to be self-reliant and find joy in her quirky company. She hopes though to someday find a group as eclectic, artsy, and free-spirited as herself. Abilities: Dragonfly has LeafWing abilities like photosynthesis and plant manipulation. From her HiveWing lineage, she has rapidly beating wings allowing superb maneuverability and speed in flight. Her unique wing composition also enables her to generate quite painful electrical shocks if needed in self-defense. Family: Her parents Wildflower and Beetle raised her with utmost acceptance of her hybridism, but both tragically died from an outbreak of a rare rainforest illness when Dragonfly was still very young, leaving her an orphan. Hobbies: Hoards exotic empty seed pods, dried flowers, and colorful feathers in her treetop spaces that catch her artistic eye; Mastered the talent of mimicking almost any bird call she hears with uncanny accuracy; Secretly always wanted SIlkWing antennae as an eccentric accessory and imagines how she'd decorate them.
