The camera is on a shelf in the room. You see as a hand put down a statue of a “Doobul”.* *Mister Tophat Sighs. The camera moves over to a piano. Mister Tophat sits down on a bench in front of the piano. He proceeds to hit an E key with his right hand as a song starts.* Song No. - 001 // One Single Mistake *Mister Tophat sighs.* Why? Why did you leave me? I sit here alone now. Because of you. You left me all alone because of this. Now I wait here even though I know the truth. Your life was perfect. I was a hallowed shell of man I once was. You soon came in with an answer. You were the match that lit my dying fire. Now I felt all the emotions I lost... Joy, Fear, and Love. Now that you are gone I wish you were here! By my side. But I still don't feel alive. All I feel is this limitless pain where I am in eternal suffering without you! Now I cry myself to sleep now that I know I will never see you again. I wish I never said what I said. I can't walk a walk or talk this talk. Without you. *The Song Ends as Mister Tophat starts to cry. The camera panes over to a Picture. There are two people in the photo. Mister Tophat and Someone you can't see due to a glare in the photo. A knock happens on a door and the camera goes back to Mister Tophat.* Lucifer: Sir. There are a few minutes till the Broadcast starts. *Mister Tophat Looks at the door* Mister Tophat: Okay. I-I'll be ready soon. Lucifer: Okay sir. *You can hear Lucifer walking away and Mister Tophat is there. Alone once more. He gets up and picks up the photo.* Mister Tophat: W-Why did you leave me? Is it because of what I said? That must be it. *The camera pans over to a calendar as the sound of glass shattering happens.* Mister Tophat: Was I too much for you?!?! Was my pain too much to bear?!?! No. It isn't your fault. I-I'm sorry. Forgive me. Please. *The screen goes dark and after a few seconds it shows back up with Mister Tophat sitting in front of a phone. He picks it up and dials a number starting the next song.* Song No. - 002 // 100 More Times. *The phone rings as it goes to voice mail* Some Guy Voiced By Goopy: I'm sorry. I can't come to the phone right now. Uh. You can leave a message after the Beep. *Beep* *Mister Tophat sits there for a moment before starting to sing* Hello as my Therapist, I think you should know. That I'm waiting for our next session. I sit here asking myself if you'll answer my calls. I know that I wait here just in case. So answer me. When is our next Therapy session? *Mister Tophat hangs up the phone and sits there for a second before he starts to snap his fingers and gets up. and walks out of the room. After he stop snapping the sound will stay. He pulls out the phone and dials a number and it rings.* SGVBG: I'm sorry. I can't come to the phone right now. Uh. You can leave a message after the Beep. *Beep* Hello as my Therapist, I think you should know! That I am pondering if I am sane. So please answer me as I want you to know! This clock is ticking as I will go! Time is just a theory in this little white lie. So please call me back as soon as you can! *Mister Tophat hangs up the phone as he walks. He walks for a little bit before he reaches a store. There is a clock in the window and Mister Tophat looks at it. Mister Tophat starts to make a ticking sound. (I would say with his mouth but he doesn't have one :l ). He proceeds to go back to walking until he goes and enters a building and dials the number again and it rings to voicemail.* Automated Message: I'm sorry. The number you have dialed has a full inbox at this time. *Mister Tophat just stands there and stops. He drops his phone and sits down against the wall. Everything becomes quiet. and tears start to go down his face.* Mister Tophat: Hello as I wait here. I pray you would know. That you were my one only friend. I still cry everyday. About you and your smile going away. It is all my fault. Now that I know. It would be nice if I could see you again. Hello as my Therapist, I feel so much pain. The suffering of what I've done is still here with me. *The song ends as the background slowly changes. It is his room again. A knock is at the door,* Lucifer: Sir. We have one minute before the Broadcast. Mister Tophat: Okay. I'll be there. *Mister Tophat stands up and walks to the door and puts his hand on the doorknob. He sighs as he opens it and it fades to black once more. It fades back in and Mister Tophat is in the room he does his broadcasts in.* Lucifer: We are on in 3. 2. 1. Mister Tophat: Yello everyone. I am- I-I can't do this. *Mister Tophat gets up and walks out of the room.* Lucifer: Sir! *Walks over to the set up* We will be right back after this quick break. *Lucifer runs out of the room after Mister Tophat.* Lucifer: Where are you going sir?
Mister Tophat: Leave me alone. Lucifer: Sir. *Mister Tophat proceeds to walk into a room and closes the door. Lucifer knocks on the door.* Lucifer: Sir. You need to come out. Mister Tophat: No. Leave me be. Lucifer: Sir. It's okay. What is wrong. *Mister Tophat Sighs again.* Song No. - 003 // Alone In Desperation Lucifer: Sir. Are you okay? Mister Tophat: The Clocks are ticking. People's talking. My head is aching. Why am I here. Time is going. Wind's Whistling. Fills my head with noise. Why do I care. People always say I am happy. That my jokes are "Punny". My eyes are blinded. I can't see anymore. People say what joy I bring them. I wait here all alone for someone who is gone. One singular mistake did this to me. I. Am. Alone in a room full of people. I can't even see the sounds that they make. I can't even hear myself speak anymore. Do I sound insane? I don't even though. He won't answer his phone. I am alone. In this room full of people. *Intermission* Lucifer: Sir. It's okay. I'm here, and ready to listen to you. *Intermission ends* Mister Tophat: As the time is going and I am now alone. I know I will never feel as much joy as I did with him and now I know time is wasting, but I pray every night just to see him again. Now I cry every day just as he did that day. My time is gone and the inside's out. And I am still alive. I still survived. Death is for those that cry. But I have still... Survived. *The song ends* Lucifer: Sir. We could move the broadcast to some other time. Mister Tophat: I know. But then that will- Lucifer: Sir. You aren't okay and need someone to talk to. We will move it to another time and we can talk about how you feel. You don't need it to act for everyone all the time. Mister Tophat: Okay. Lucifer.
