Spiritstar’s call. > “Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather under Warm Stone for a Clan meting!” Spiritstar called. > Mistygaze chose a spot next to Snowstreak, a newly named Warrior. He was a young white furred tom who had streaks of gray all over his fur. > Mistygaze’s whiskers twitched with amusement when she saw Snowstreak staring at Novashine. > /“They should start hanging out”/ Mistygaze thought. > Spiritstar nodded when she saw the last of the cats come over. “I have an announcement to make,” she said happily. > Cats started whispering to each other. “What could she be happy about?” Someone beside Mistygaze murmured. “Yeah! Leafystar is gone!” Someone replied. > Spiritstar continued, ignoring the suspicious gazes,“Darkfur of FeatherClan has joined us!” > Complete silence.
