No one ever liked her much because of her strong ego, but she didn't care. Her ego led her to become a warrior and she was one of the best warriors at the time. The previous leader chose her as deputy after a battle with a rogue that left the previous deputy with a wound that eventually killed them. She had proved herself in that battle by saving the deputy from dying right then and there and chasing off the rogue. Later on, the leader, who was extremely old, died and she became the leader.
