Welcome to the Emoji Picture Mosaic tool! This project will let you draw or upload an image from your computer, and then export the image as a TEXT file containing only emojis that appear as your photo when zoomed out! Warning: This program requires a bit of computer skill to use, I recommend finding an adult to help if you aren't familiar with filesystems. Another warning: Use Turbowarp ( https://turbowarp.org/972292442 ) if you want to use a big image or to make the project go faster. Highly recommended. [not mobile-friendly, I cannot change this] How to make a picture yourself and emojify: ✏️✨ - Drag the size slider to your desired square size for your drawing. - Use the RGB sliders to choose the colors you want to use (view your selected color in the rectangle window). - Drag across the canvas and make your drawing. When you are ready to get the emojis, follow these steps: Click "See Inside" to go inside the project. Unfullscreen if you are in fullscreen. Hover over the "copy" button on the stage. You should see a list appear. Right-click on the top of that list and select "Export" from the options. You should download a .txt file containing your emojis called "My Code" or similar. Open the text file and zoom out/reduce text size as much as you can to see your emoji drawing! [ADVANCED] How to use a picture from your computer and emojify: ⌨️ ⛰️✨ Using an image from your filesystem requires an outside tool, because Scratch projects cannot have images uploaded to them. How to do it: Visit https://imageresizer.com/ (trusted site) Upload your image from your files Resize the image to be maximum ~100 pixels on the longest side. Do not skip this unless your image is already very small. Take note of the new dimensions of the image you resized and download. Next, visit https://onlinepngtools.com/convert-png-to-hex (trusted site) Upload your NEW image from just before by clicking "Import from File" Now click the text on the other side that says "Copy to Clipboard" It will show a pop-up that reminds you that you are on the "free plan". Click the new button that says "Copy to Clipboard". It will start a countdown. Make sure the tab with that website is focused when it hits 0. Now you have your image copied and you are ready to come back to Scratch! Press E to start the external image program. Enter the width and height of your image (Remember, you saw them when you resized the image?) Finally, paste the image into the third prompt. It should look something like "#ffffff, #123456, #abcdef". Click enter and watch your image fill the canvas! Follow the instructions above to download the .txt that has your image in emojis. If your picture's colors seem incorrect, please tell me which color the picture lacks. There are only a few emojis in the system right now, so some colors might be omitted. The emoji colors in the database were synced with Windows 11 and assumed to be on a black screen, so all pictures will look best on Windows devices on a black background. #emoji #picture #man-o-valor #tool #paint #rgb #custom
