This was kinda hard (cheek feathers especially) to draw because of the bird wings and feathers ;-; They shed feathers a lot so small white fluffs can be seen dropping off (and yes, they're soft) Feathers can be preferably brown, grey or white (to blend in with the mountains and surroundings). I usually draw eyes black with bright coloured pupils so um sorry The easiest way to tell age is through cheek feathers. Kit: Wing size is proportionally small, usually the size of the feathers (top left, shoulder). When they grow up, feathers will shed but will regrow and stay there. Apprentice: Cheek feathers start growing, becoming more obvious and visible. Wings grow bigger, usually at the size to help the apprentice support their weight in air for long enough to hunt. Warrior: Cheek feathers grow to it's maximum, and feathers start shedding a little. Wings are much bigger then before, and now are able to use them to balance itself. Legs grow slightly longer. Elder: Cheek feathers start to shed more, colours usually fade around this age. Wings are way bigger than average warrior size, but usually don't have the energy to use them. It’s common to see them getting dragged on the ground.
