In the 'Alternate Scar' roleplay, everything takes place on an island named 'Incendio Isla,' (Spanish for burning island), somewhat near the galapagos islands, and the island has 5 distinct biomes, those being the volcano at the western end of the island, a forest just east of the volcano, a grassland just east of the forest, and a tundra area farthest to the east, and a sandy beach reaching form the grasslands all the way around the volcano and back. Volcanoclan's base is near the northern shoreline in the area between the grasslands and the forest. In each of these sections, I will explain what each of the area's terrain, animals, and plants are present in each enviroment. Volcano/Rocky Flats - The volcano on the island is surrounded by rough, unstable, and uneven terrain, and the volcano itself is also very dangerous with tons of overhangs that are the perfect place for landslides. The area is only populated by rocks and very few small rodents, and there are little to no plants in the area. Occasionally, one can encounter a rare sight on the island, a Komodo Dragon. It is always advised that you stay away from the area, as it is one of the most dangerous. Forest - The forest area is just east of the volcano, and flourishes from the ash from it. It has tons of trees and plants, as well as plenty of herbs for use, and it has plenty of natural hiding places. It is one of the best places to hunt, with plenty of rodents, birds, and tons of streams, ponds, rivers, and a massive lake that all house tons of fish. Be wary of the area though, as plenty of foxes and raptorial birds live in the area. Grasslands - The grasslands are large open fields with grassy hills and sparse trees, and not many predators around. It has a good amount of prey, with plenty of mice and rabbits wandering the area, and there are some usable herbs in the area as well. It is one of the best places for apprentices to hone their skills, and is usually the place where they are trained. occasionally though, a fox or wolf may wander into the area and pose a threat, so all cats are needed to remain weary of any possible threats. Tundra - The ice cold tundra is very dangerous, sporting heavy snowfall, freezing temperatures, and several wolf packs in the area. It is not that helpful to go there either, as most of the prey there consists of mice and the occasional rabbit. Not many dare to tread in the tundra, and many who do, are never seen again. Beach - A long beach stretches from the north of the grasslands to the south, and it goes all the way to the volcano, around it, then reaches the other side. There isn't much to note here, as nothing really lives here other than some small fish and some seagulls. Each of these environments have their own challenges and rewards, and can sometimes change for the better, or for the worse...
