I drew in a breath. This was it. The final second. It went off. Chaos, cheers, cries, everything. A tear trickled down my cheek. We lost. We were out. We were in the playoffs, and if you lost, you were out of there. One of my teammates started to cry, others looked solemn. "Great game," The opponent said. I just nodded, looking away. I had a flashback. Me joining this team, complaining it was a waste of time. Was it? It was in fact the opposite. My mom came up to me saying,"Good job, you did great!" I nodded again. I just wanted to get away. "You know what? Your team is the best," My mom added. I nodded a third time. My team may not be the best at basketball, but they were the friendliest people I had ever met. They were supportive, kind, funny, and patient. I finally let it out. Out of all the losses we've had this one was the greatest. But I would never forget this team. I would remember it till my very last breath.
