Bugclaw was her sister, but their father, Pineclaw, gave Bugclaw away to PondClan in exchange for is ex mate, Pinkheart's death. Though PondClan never knew about this (And never will) Graybird took Bugclaw from her kin. Pinkheart always believed that her kit(Bugclaw, or known as Bugkit at the time) was stolen or simply ran away from home. (And yes, Graybird is Dovestar and Marshstar's father.) they were sent on a journey to find the waves, and it would give them the power of all the clans. StarClan did this to trick them. Bugclaw does know how to swim but not in the rough waves in the ocean. Almost drowning, her sister, Butterflywhisker saved her, they rested on a log drifting on the ocean when StarClan gave them one last blow, taking away their life. Even though they went to the dark forest(Cats Butterflywhisker killed: Pineclaw,Tabbytail, Mudpaw, Dovestar, Amberheart, Nightclaw, Honeystar{Honeysilk, she took one of her lives, but that's not how she actually died} Cats Bugclaw killed: Graybird, Marshstar, Redstripe) when Butterflywhisker's only surviving kit, Hazelheart, became mates with Ravenfeather, having Jewelkit,(Jewelwhisker) Butterflywhisker knew this was their time. Jewelwhisker's mentor, Goldstorm, fell in love with her, edventally, he became deputy. When he died by falling off a clif. The next was leader, Nightstar. The current med cat, Snowfall, had a dream were Jewelwhisker killed them all. Meanwhile, Jewelwhisker was getting along with Stormblaze. Nightstar kicked out Jewelwhisker. When Jewelwhisker saw Stormblaze again, he was with another she-cat named Nutheart, Stormblaze asked Nutheart to be his mate. Not knowing that Jewelwhisker was lurking in the shadows. And Nutheart said yes. When Nightstar was patrolling alone. Jewelwhisker took all of his lives, ending with throwing him off the cliff. Butterflywhisker and Bugclaw had visited her in a dream. Butterflywhisker explained that they were all kin. And that they could help her get her revenge. Meanwhile, Nutheart had three kits, Rock-kit(Gayheart,he/him)Fuzzykit(Fuzzyheart,She/her) and Blazkingkit(Blazingstorm, he/him) when Nutheart and Stormblaze were showing their kits around their territory, they were walking close to the cliff were Nightstar and Goldstar had both died. Jewelwhisker attacked Stormblaze, as Nutheart protected her kits. Jewelwhisker was using the training that Butterflywhisker and Bugclaw had taught her. Then she and Stormblaze made the cliff crack. Sending them both to their death.
