The "Großberge" Mountaineers are a special force built to survive the high peaks of the Alpine confederacy developed in mountaineering and Guerilla Warfare in the mountains they get their names from, the Großberge Range, which is the local name of the West Alverton Mountains in the Alpine Confederacy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- History: Originally a security company called Rot Erzwingen, it was integrated into the military in 1948 and turned into a Special Forces unit in 1962, gaining its moniker "Große Berge" due to most of its members having experiences in the high peaks in the Alpine confederacy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Command System: The 17th is split into a parliamentary-like command system, having the soldiers have a say in things. Headed by Commandant Louis Churburger, with itself split into multiple other regiment heads and then squad leaders to finally the recruits and average special forces operative.
