ATC Verderben was formed in 1985, following an agreement between the Verderbian government and the Argentina Televisora Color (ATC) company. It broadcasted programs in English, Spanish, and German. The company's idents were primarily using the Spanish language, but English and German translations do exist (the German ones not being so common.) The reason why the "Buenos Aires, Argentina" part of the script was kept is reportedly because the company simply wanted to explain that ATC was using broadcasts from that city to broadcast in Verderben. ATeCE (formed in 1996) wasn't actually broadcast to Verderben, and the company name remained ATC Verderben in that region at that time. In 2000, the channel was renamed to "Canal 7 Verderben" (aka "Channel 7 Verderben" in English, or "Kanal 7 Verderben" in German) following the rebrand of ATC. Oddly enough, the 2003-2007 logos were never used in Verderben following technical and economic issues in the ATC company, which made the 2000 logo of C7V (2000-2006) last even longer than it did in Argentina (2000-2002). In 2006, the Verderbian company rebranded to the 2002 logo from Canal 7 Argentina, even though the company was still using it's 2003 logo at that time. In 2007, the entire Verderben subsidiary was shut down, following a massive company reconstruction in ATC Argentina (TV Pública in 2007), and the assets were sold to the VTC (Virtual Television Center), which began broadcasting them through its new channel ATC Throwback ("ATC Retroceso" in Spanish, "ATC Rückblick" in German). The usage of the name "ATC" was still granted by the Argentinian company, and ATC Throwback began broadcasts on May 10th, 2008. ATC Throwback still exists to this day. [THIS IS ALL A WORK OF FICTION, OBVIOUSLY. THE COMPANIES MENTIONED NEVER EXISTED!] [EXCEPT ARGENTINA TELEVISORA COLOR... THAT COMPANY STILL EXISTS UNDER THE NAME "TELEVISION PUBLICA".]
