~ Chapter 1 ~ Amira Amira awoke alone, in a dazed state. 'what just happened?' she wondered. Putting one hand on her forehead, she realized it warm. "Inconceivable" she muttered to herself. Why would she be warm after falling asleep on cold grass in the cold night air. Amira loved using fun words like that. It made her feel important. but... she still didn't know why she was alone. She had fell asleep on the grass with her one true love. or so she thought. "@#$%* Dorian" she grumbled "I cant believe you left me here alone." Sitting up she realized she wasn't even on the grass anymore. Well, she was on grass, but not the same grass as before. This grass was greener, softer, and warmer. Looking around she gasped "what is this place?" Just then a mysteriously handsome boy walked up to her. "Hi Amira. Welcome to the Lost Lovers Society." he said. "the what?" "The L.L.S." He smiled at her, making her fill up with ooey gooey warmness. she wanted to melt into a puddle of happiness, right there and then, but she restrained from doing so, not wanting to make a fool of herself in front of this cute boy. "Who are you?" she asked, curious to learn his name. "I'm Liam!" He responded, still smiling. Liam? what a cute name! it matched him perfectly. He offered her his hand "Come with me. We need to get you registered" She took his hand willingly, loving the way his touch made her all tingly inside. "I still don't understand." she told him "Why am I here?" Him, (still holding her hand) pulled her in the direction of a big pink building with a heart on it. "You-" he explained "Just got cheated on. You were a lost lover, and we brought you here to help." She muttered a string of naughty words under her breath. "I knew that kid was trouble." She said- mostly to herself. "your very lucky we found you." he said as they approached the big building. "You were to be kild in the morning." Amira stopped walking "KILD? why?" Liam, who probably expected this type of response, Brushed a strand of her Caramel - brown hair behind her ear. She hoped she wasn't blushing when he said "You," he sighed "a beautiful young girl, who was left sleeping on the park grass. In the middle of New York. Bad people come out at Midnight. But- you couldn't have expected to be alone." Amira looked at the floor, feeling her face turn bright red. Liam sighed again, pulling her towards the pink doors of the pink building with the heart on it. "Now come on, we need to get you registered." Not at all satisfied with her Devastated look, he added "You need to be matched with someone, that's how the L.L.S works. And hey, Maybe you'll even be matched with me." He winked. Amira's face lit up. "You?!? But, Wouldn't you already be registered? I just got here and--" She was cut off "No. I - " he started "Haven't found a match yet. " His sad look was enough to make her cry. Him- with his beautiful (short) Curly blonde hair, and his perfect Baby blue eyes, Doesn't, have a match yet? As he pulled her through the front doors she continued to think about how happy she would be to be matched with him, and as they neared the front desk, she couldn't help but blurt out "can you be matched with multiple people?" This time it was Liam who stopped. As he turned to face her he wispered "no. Only one person." he sucked in a breath "And that one person is your soul mate." then, he turned around and continued up till the front desk. ringing a bell. Amira put a hand up to her mouth- lost in thought. Ever since they had met 5 minutes ago, she had wanted to be with him. just then a purple fuzzy thing popped up onto the desk. Amira let out a little squeak, squeezing Liam's hand "w-whats that?" Liam chuckled "this-" he gestured towards the purple fluffy thing "is Violet. The secretary" Violet looked at Amira "another lost lover?" she asked Liam. He nodded his head in response. Violet pulled out a notepad and started scribbling notes, or maybe a drawing? Amira couldn't tell. "Welp Liam. This might be your lucky day." she told him. As she ripped out the paper from her notepad, a tube came out. Violet put it in the tube and it got sucked to the upstairs. "Go on now. " she told them "Go see if you have a lover" Liam pulled her towards the elevator in excitement. "Come on" he whispered
