Instructions

***TURBO MODE is 100% needed!!! Change any variables. Press SPACE to start. Then watch. And listen :-) You can change the key of the piece by using the "Key (halfsteps)" variable. I like -3 a lot I think. Read the Notes and Credits, also.

Description

PACHELBEL S CANON The ordering of the voices was heavily based off of this: https://musescore.com/user/354336/scores/1026901 Musescore is the best thing in existence. The whole idea behind this is to emphasize how Pachelbel's Canon is a CANON. A canon is when the only difference between the voices is when they started in relation to each other. That is, each voice (in the project's case: clone) has the same notes and melody, they are exactly the same, but one starts later than the other. People like Canons because intuition tells us they would sound horrible... yet if you do them correctly, they don't. ...Sorry for the Google Translate level grammar. Those last sentences took like 20 tries. It's hard to explain this. In any language. Most modern-day renditions of it are not real canons. So I made a rendition that actually is. Here's a great video by Vi Hart which is very similar in how this Canon in D is played: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3a9wWRxYSko
