a guy named Shaun which was Samantha’s ex wanted to give Alex a present. It was a box, but when he looked inside it was just a black void. Shaun said before to read the letter after he opened his present it would make sense later. Shaun said “Sorry I gotta go” and he ran out the door with no explanation. Now Alex and Samantha were left with this box. After dropping a pencil in to see if it would hit the bottom, they read the letter from Shaun it said. “I’m sorry, I had no one else left to give it to. I’m sorry for everything before, and now. All I know is that it can’t move when you’re watching it.” Then the pencil that Alex dropped in the box, rolled towards his feet. He picked it up and he turned to look at the box to see a human head staring at him. It was covered in water. They were freaked out, then they decided to look away and look back after a second to find out what they’re dealing with. When they looked back now its fingers were out of the box. Alex suggested they find Shaun but Samantha said “No… we can’t, someone has to watch it.” Then Samantha said “NO you can’t leave me here with this thing!” Alex grabbed a knife from the kitchen and gave it to Samantha. “Here, you know it’s gotta be me to go right?” Then Samantha said “Just please be quick.” So Alex left and got in the car trying to call Shaun but he would not pick up the phone. Then He finally answered. “SHAUN why have you not been answering?!” Alex said. “What?” Shaun said confused. “YOU LEFT US WITH A BOX” Alex yelled. “Wait…” said Shaun, “Where are you right now?” screamed Shaun. “That’s not important tell me what that thing is.” Alex said. “WHERE ARE YOU RIGHT NOW?” screamed Shaun. “I am driving to find you.” Alex said. “no no no YOU YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO WATCH IT! YOU!” then Shaun said “Alex, do not go back there.” “DO NOT GO BACK THERE!” then Alex hung up the phone and drove back to the house. The light switch was torn out of the wall and the lights were off. He saw the chair and knife he gave Samantha to defend herself on the floor covered in water leaving a trail to the kitchen. When he got to the kitchen the light switch was ripped out of the wall too and the sink was running. Then he followed the trail to the basement door. Then he yelled “Samantha?” he heard a reply in Samantha’s voice. “yeah, what’s up?” Then Alex said “umm where’s the box?” there was no reply. So Alex crept down the stairs and saw the ceiling fan chain he pulled it and it turned on the light. Then he went to the bathroom to find the shower running with someone in it. Then Alex said “I SEE YOU I SEE YOU DON’T MOVE” Then there was a loud crash behind him so he turned and looked then as he realized his mistake of looking away he looked back to find the “Box person” gone so he ran to the steps to find at the top a group of people who were covered in water too. Then he looked back at the basement and there was the man in the box. Then he looked back at the group to see they got closer, then he looked back at the man from the box to see him with his hand on the chain to the light. So once Alex looked away from the man from the box to keep the group of people from moving then the man would turn off the lights. So Alex took his eyes off the man in the box and to look at the group of people. Then the lights went out.
