Here we have a switcher DPU. The ELI SWDPU is a DPU and a switcher combined. Basically, this is a switcher that can be separated into powers of a train. This train can be classified into two types: The Hybrid DC version and the AC third rail version. The Hybrid DC version mostly uses battery power, but it uses diesel power when it's speed goes up to more than 60 MPH. It has 1,500 horsepower. It's diesel engine is two-stroke. The AC version uses Third rail power; this would be used on third rail lines that are both designed for third rail passenger trains and freight trains. More info would come out when the AC third rail version comes out. The DC and AC versions are both designed to run to a maximum of 135 MPH speed.
