As the nightly stars began to twinkle and glimmer through the sunsetting sky, Oliver headed towards the mirror forest where Imposter Shadow resided for their planned date. He was being mindful as he remembered what Shadow wanted to ask of Imposter Shadow and he knew just how to carry out the question. From there, Oliver noticed Imposter Shadow waiting for him with his back turned towards him and seeming to be looking at the night sky. Oliver silently approached Imposter Shadow while being so nonchalant and playful. "Hey Imposter Shadow, ready for our fun date you planned?" Oliver spoke. Imposter Shadow smiled, though it was small. "Of course, you know that I'm always ready for anything..." Imposter Shadow responded, holding Oliver's hand. The two then descended deeper into the mirror forest, going to go enjoy their date. A couple of hours later, Oliver and Imposter Shadow still were by each other, seeming to have so much fun. However, Oliver knew that he had to ask Imposter Shadow why he was specifically causing chaos while taking Shadow's identity in the process. Oliver decided to question Imposter Shadow about this, having some concern for that awful scenario. "Imposter Shadow, is it okay if I ask you something...?" Oliver asked, looking nervously at Imposter Shadow while trying to keep a casual smile. Imposter Shadow smiled, his fang appearing. "Sure, you have my consent..." Oliver suddenly got a nerve-wrecking chill down his spine, getting the thought that Imposter Shadow might react negatively to the question. Oliver cleared his throat, driving the nerves away so he doesn't appear to be scared. Then, he said, "Why are you causing havoc around Mobius and took Shadow the Hedgehog's identity for that?" After that question, Imposter Shadow hesitatingly turned away from Oliver. He then clutched his fists and made a slightly low growl so he could control himself and not lash out at Oliver. After a few minutes, Imposter Shadow finally answered, "Oliver, you don't need to worry about what I do. That question is none of your business, and let fate guide you to the answer of your question..." Oliver took a deep breath, relieving the stressful tension of his answer. Then, Oliver hugged Imposter Shadow from behind, digging his face into his back. "Thank you, love. I promise that I won't ask you any more personal questions, unless you tell me." Oliver smiled and chuckled, trying to lighten up the mood. Imposter Shadow crossed his arms, but he smiled and hugged Oliver back as he turned to face him and actually hugged him. After the comforting hug, Oliver gave a kiss on Imposter Shadow's cheek and ran off, saying goodbye as he headed back home to contact Shadow about the answer he got.
