ALFONSO >:3 Wassup! I made a lil lad over the weekend and I’ve been dead on scratch for a while and I’m sick today so I’m posting MY SON (his name is Alfonso if that wasn’t clear) made this lil guy myself and my mom made him the scarf! He’s not perfect but he was a LOT of fun to make and I love him lots <3 He’s a supermodel and his stage name is Alfonso The Existential Imperfection ( existential cause he constantly looks like he’s going through a crisis, imperfection cause he’s not perfect! But that’s ok!) Sorry I didn’t take any progress pics but here are the steps on how I made him! 1. I made the head by wrapping a tinfoil ball in black sculpy clay and then I made his facial features (eyes ears etc.) (I poked holes in his ears so if there was any air in the clay it wouldn’t crack while it was baking in the oven, the holes are covered up by the fur, there was also a big hole in the bottom of his head so when he’s baked I could glue his head to his neck) 2. I made a lil tinfoil oval for the body then I took wire and wrapped it around the tinfoil to secure and make the basic structure 4 the legs, tail & neck, then I covered it all in black sculpey clay except for the wire neck (this also left a hole so it wouldn’t crack) the arms were just posed and I cut a tiny wire to stick it into the shoulders 3. My mom baked the boi in the oven according to the instructions on the clay packet (his head was baked separate from the body so I could glue his head on) 4. When he was done baking I first started on the neck fluff by cutting out some fabric and sewed it to make a tube, then I put it on his wire neck, stuffed it, shaped it by putting in a few stitches and trimming it, then securing it by sewing it to the wire and then glueing the head on with the head fur and glueing the head fur onto the neck fur 5. I then cut out a bunch of shapes of fur and glued them to the body 6. Then his arm and nose broke and so glued it back TvT Have a lovely day!!! Thanks 4 lookin at Alfonso >:3 He do he dancin on my windowsill Ur mum <3
Here’s the stuff I used to make him; ~2 packet/lil bricks of sculpey lll clay for the main part of the body (I don’t recommend this type of sculpey as it’s not as durable as some of the other types of sculpey) ~tinfoil ~oven-safe wire ~a small amount of faux fur ~small bit of stuffing ~hot glue ~teeny tiny lil sewing scissors for trimming the fur
