Nevermore was born to Velvet and Grim Night as Lenore Pallas Night. She was able to read at a young age, so her parents introduced her to the poem she was named after, and Nevermore fell in love with poetry and ways words could be used. She shared this love with her older brother, Morrow, who didn't love words as much as Lenore, but still loved them dearly, and they could always bond over a good poem. The oldest child in their family, Ember, didn't share this love of poems or words, and scoffed upon them. During her school days, Nevermore explored and discovered his gender identity and sexual orientation, but the Night family wasn't the most accepting of people who are different. They didn't like anyone who "wasn't normal". Nevermore was worried about her parents's reactions if they found out that their own child was genderfluid, pan, and ace. Don't misunderstand me, the Nights weren't bad people, they were relatively great parents, and provided their children with whatever they needed, and, being an upper-class family, could provide their children with most of what they wanted... except Nevermore. All he wanted was to be accepted by his parents for who he was, but she knew that it was impossible. At school, she began using the nickname "Raven". She also met a friend, who's name was Azzie. She, Azzie, and Morrow became a tight-knit friend group, and enjoyed many happy days together. Sometimes, when things became too much, Lenore would stargaze, and get lost in the stars and her own thoughts. If things really because too much, she would confide in her brother. Unfortunately, on time she was letting everything out to Morrow, Ember overheard, and discovered Lenore's secrets. She revealed them to their parents, who were obviously enraged, and that's when she decided that she couldn't stay with her parents anymore. So Lenore, now Nevermore, changed her entire name. He changed his first name from Lenore to Nevermore, because nevermore will his parents control her. Her middle name became Ravensflight, since her nickname was Raven, and she was flying away to freedom. And her last name is now Hope, hope for the future... although it looks bleak... A young child can't survive on their own for long, but thankfully, Nevermore had friends. Well, more like one friend. Azzie's parents were understanding, and let Nevermore stay with them. Morrow came to visit his friend group, his beloved younger sibling. For once, Nevermore's future looked as bright as day... --- Epilogue: ~Many years later(not currently canon as she is still a minor)~ Nevermore was finally happy. She was free from her parents. He was a writer. She lived in a nice home with Azzie and Morrow, and he hasn't seen Ember since she confronted their parents. Nevermore felt like he could've written the best poem...
