Emerald Shine's lore is a bit complicated but I can put some explanation. Emerald Shine used to be a normal Smiling Critter who used to be happy, (Parents would be Catnap & Dogday, it was through adoption.) but he never had a charm so he felt so left out until he found a emerald charm that was half lime green & half red, when he took it, he became half red (as his original color was Lime green) but after that, another being lives inside him who sometimes takes over, a demon version of Emerald Shine, so Emerald Shine, whenever the AU gets a reset, everyone forgets except Emerald Shine. he's forced to remember the resets.
