| traditional art | art done on paper, canvas, or other physical materials (non-digital art) | previous “dumps” | I: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/870345523/ II: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/876491135/ III: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/895170126/ howdy everyone! been a while since we’ve posted a traditional art dump and since we’re unable to make new digital art (</3) we figured now was a good time to break that streak! sorry for any low-quality, we tried to make the images clear, but it’s difficult :p if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask them :) the images are very vaguely in timeline order from oldest to newest | art descriptions | 1 | pretty pleased with this page of lockwood, dy-ann, mulder, and loki (left to right)—it’s super mismatched but that’s also kind of fun? :P quote is from meteor shower by cavetown 2 | full color of vanir! there are some anatomical issues with it, but i *love* the hand (i used a reference for the pose) 3 | a page with mulder, kipps, and arthur! lyrics from call your mom by noah kahan and boys will be bugs by cavetown - i like the vibes of the page and i think the mulder likeness is pretty good but all these drawings are in desperate need of liquify tbh 4 | some characters from the bat family comics! tim and cass, who are some of my favorites ^^ i’d definitely recommend the comics, they’re super cute and fun and have a great art style!! 5 | probably have posted this already? not sure, but here you go again, i’m sooo incredibly proud of these<3 it’s mulder and scully (LKJSDF i’m sorry ok) from the s8 episode empedocles i believe ^^ they’re so freaking adorable, and i really like the way i combined the two shots from the same scene 6 | another scully<3 from amor fati: biogenesis i believe :D 7 | page of jasper and jason, pretty happy with this especially the little running jasper! lyrics from heirloom, i think, by sleeping at last 8 | lincoln lee my beloved!! we rewatched some fringe a while ago and i kind of had to. pretty happy with the profile view in particular :0 quotes from pluto by sleeping at last (and the show) 9 | kaz drawing! low-key pretty proud of this 10 | a drawing of newt for a friend’s birthday! quite happy with this, we should color drawings more often :0 11 | another rare fully colored piece! this one of jasper, tho a more modern version of him i suppose? pretty happy with this tho it does need a bit of liquify. still, i think the colors and vibes are good! 12 | m&s page i probably shared already BUT love this one so much~~ not sure exactly what episode the bottom one is from but the screencap i redrew on top is from paper hearts 13 | not the most pleased with everything about this page, but it is pretty cute and full color so i decided to include it ^^ ngl the hands are pretty good tho 14 | the welcome page for my current sketchbook! yes it’s mulder and scully…really happy with how she turned out in particular! i tried my hand at watercolors again, i really like the bush/tree in the top left ! quote from walking after you by foo fighters 15 | more jasper! this is pretty cute imo, i’m quite pleased with it, even if it’s just a quick doodle. plus you can see my brother’s drawings of bootman and harry pooter and my on theme gandoolf.
