The Virtual Television Center (or simply "VTC") is a Verderbian television channel founded in May 1988, located in Hauptstadt, Die Überfahrt. It is notorious for inventing the use of virtual (otherwise "digital") television in Verderben. The channel experienced a skydive in popularity in January 1989 and had adopted another logo just a month earlier, that would later become loosely associated with the network as time went on. The ident shown has been in use for over 35 years, making it the longest used ident from the company. The ident they formerly had was used from May to December 1988, and only an image of it has resurfaced. No video of the May 1988 logo has been found, due to the fact that there was no known television recording device in Verderben until February 1989, and even then VTC was still using the December 1988 logo. In 2011, the company experienced complications, as HD widescreen television was being introduced around that time in the country of Verderben, free with digital television. Instead, the company decided to expand from the northern parts of Verderben, reaching the south of it and eventually becoming the official, national television network of the country. This was a massive plus for the company, as they experienced another surge in viewership and population from states like Kyöcera and Üzi. In September 2012, their headquarters were moved from Die Überfahrt to Kyöcera. In October 2018, the VTC company began to suffer from chapter 11 bankruptcy, but in January 2019, the company fell out of it and rose back to its former popularity. The company still operates to this day and has even kept the same logo since December 1988. Even a widescreen version of the logo was made during the 2011 transition to widescreen television in Verderben! Jeez, talk about keeping your word. [THIS IS ALL A WORK OF FICTION, OBVIOUSLY.
