Ammit’s original feline version That’s it guys ——— ——— LORE ——— (Please read lore from 1 - 5 before reading ^^) /the midnight zone/ Arika lead Ajea forward into the centre of the clearing. The grass swayed and brushed against Ajea’s pads in a breeze that wasn’t there, though the air was cold and fresh and full of life and the smell of the depths. A somehow saturated version of reality. There, in the centre of the clearing, Arika turned to Ajea. Suddenly, Arika seemed to become more glowing, shining water than fur. Where fur was once, there was now only Arika’s wavering form, held together by some invisible force: suspended in the air in the shape of Arika. Like a splash frozen mid fall. And then, suddenly Ajea was aware of their reflection in the water-fur of Arika’s pelt. She was horrified. Oh her face, where once two eyes had been, were now 2 pairs of four, as if each eye had been split horizontally through the middle. And that wasn’t all. On Ajea’s forehead, a deep and large scar shaped as an ‘X’ was clearly visible. /this is what the shadow creatures did to me, before I fell into the pool. This is what they did/ Ajea’s head reeled with this information and they were suddenly dizzy. Arika seemed to solidify once more and was once again flesh and bone and fur. “What was /that/?!” Ajea huffed, still processing this new information. /I have four eyes/ They blinked them one at a time to be absolutely sure. Yup. Four eyes. Ajea dropped to the ground and sat there in the long purple grass, finding relief in its cool and smooth texture against their fur. Arika stood next to them, then sat down. “This is the deepest section of the dream realm. It is also the spot closest to the heart of the shadow monsters who attacked you in reality. We must destroy this place. To free the lost living and find an escape.” “So… we’re trapped here until be do that?! How /do/ we even do that?!” “We must act fast,” Arika’s voice echoed around the clearing, “you have seen the extra eyes and marking. Soon your soul will be consumed like mine and you will be forever bound to these woods. You must destroy Ammit before this can happen. Before it controls you.” It was as if Ajea was suddenly aware of the weight of the water, and this whole reality, once more. [MAY OR MY NOT BE CONTINUED LOL]
