Yup, you read the title right. No I'm not leaving. Just taking a break. There are a few reasons why I'm doing this. The first reason is that I've just... not been making many good projects recently. I've got too many ideas for cool projects but no motivation or skill to make any of them. I'll think of a cool idea, write it down and then never do anything with it ever again. I'm suffering from TOO MANY ideas xD If anyone wants to know some of the ideas I'll tell you them if you want. The second reason is there's been quite a lot of negative stuff happening in the Scratch community as of late. Half of trending projects nowadays seem to be generic / stolen platformers, and WAYY TOO MANY PEOPLE are being told by other people to... well, for lack of a better word, die, on this site. Nobody should be told ANYTHING like that, speaking from someone who's dealt with that before. People don't realise how much it hurts. Toxicity is all too common here. It's clearly affecting my mental health quite a bit because I recently had that depressive episode [ if you know, you know ], and I've not had something like that in months. Not too sure how long the break will be. It'll probably be just a couple of days, maybe a week at most. Just some time to clear my head a bit. People report on toxicity way too much.
