Name: Wither Gender: Female Personality: A sassy, introverted bean Siblings/friends: Nope! ^<>^ Backstory: Wither was born in the desert, left astray to fend for herself ever since she was small. Her mother despised her when she was born for her abnormal tail, so she left Wither stranded. Wither didn't mind. She felt she was always better off alone. Sometimes she would just look up at the sky and hum, bored out of her mind. Although, prey is getting pretty scarce, and the oases in the area are drying up, becoming far and in between. Wither doesn't know what to do, wandering around as she merely ponders the meaning of life. One day, as the sun was setting, a bird flies overhead. Wither looks up, still laying down, and tilts her head. A parrot? Flying in the desert? Confusing as it was, a meal was a meal. Wither got up very slowly, then followed it silently until it landed on a bare shrub nearby. Wither crouched down as much as she could, hoping the small dune would hide her. She pounced-paws outstretched, when the parrot spoke, causing her to tumble onto the ground with a loud THUMP. "Be thy one to kill thy foe, then be thy one to die alone." It whispered, then after a few moments, flicked its wings to the sky and took off. Wither blinked, bewildered by what had just happened, and stood up, watching the parrot fly off into the distance. "What...?" Wither blinked a few times, in a stupor. She lay down once more, wagging her tail for no particular reason. Or so she thought, at least.
