Hi Today I’d like to talk about something kinda serious. In the scratch guidelines, it says “ Help keep the site friendly. It’s important to keep your creations and conversations friendly and appropriate for all ages. If you think something on Scratch is mean, insulting, too violent, or otherwise disruptive to the community, click “Report” to let us know about it. Please use the “Report” button rather than engaging in fights, spreading rumors about other people’s behavior, or otherwise responding to any inappropriate content. The Scratch Team will look at your report and take the appropriate action.” Want to know who this doesn’t apply too? The ST. And boy do they know it. They never follow this, and people use it way too much! People will report something just because they’re an anti-furry, or a LGBTQ+ hater. STOP IT!! You cannot discriminate people, report art, comics, pride stuff or anything else to due to your religious beliefs or opinions! And a note to ST: you’re not helping. In fact, you’re making things worse. Your not following your own guidelines, banning people who oppose you (it’s called a power grab, this a an exerpt from a book: “when someone who currently holds power attempts to hold onto authority by banishing those who would try to de-throne them” this is in king/queen context, so it’s worded differently than what is happening now) and finding ways to edge around the things you do wrong, heck, your even using AI to ban People! Ban me all you want, eventually your gonna have to see, that your turning scratch from the happy, supportive, loving community into the hateful, pursuing, cold, offensive, judgemental place it is now :’( I’ve been on the brink of crying over scratch, and I’m starting to think I shouldn’t be. Don’t get me wrong, I love ya’lls support and love that you’ve given me and enchanted my life with a lot of happiness, but when you look at the big picture, after this place got rlly hurtful, scratch is just simply a game thing where you’ll get emotional trauma because of who you are :( What happened to us? What happened to scratch? This used to be a safe place folks could retreat to and now what? What is scratch now? What can everyone do to make it better? Change it back to the scratch we all love? Ban me all you want. We will not be silenced. ST, I rlly hope you reconsider how your handeling things, and start to realize of you keep doing things the way your doing them, no one’s going to be on scratch for you to powergrab anyway.
