Instructions

I'm hoping to make this MAP open to the vast majority of you guys, but I'm looking for **animators** with more experience! Art experience or style does not have any effect on whether or not you can join this MAP If you don't feel very confident about your animations, try joining this MAP of mine where I'm looking for experienced **artists**, and animation smoothness or experience has no effect on whether or not you can join! https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/95303605/ REMEMBER: All of you are wonderful! Please don't take not being accepted personally, it doesn't mean you are worse than anyone else - big animation companies or advertising businesses will accept or deny many extremely talented artists and animators because they are looking for specific elements of style, etc. Just keep applying to MAPs, and you'll get in, like professional graphic designers and animators keep applying for jobs and eventually get in. Hey, even J.K. Rowling asked 12 different publishers about Harry Potter before she was accepted. Remember that you all are extremely talented and I highly appreciate you wanting to join this MAP! Scratch on! <3 Ok, here we go... RULES: (READ THOROUGHLY - CODES ARE HIDDEN) - Animate! This one should be obvious. Keep your characters or shapes/effects *almost* entirely in constant motion (this is why the parts are so short, so you can accomplish this). - No still frames for too long, or simple animations like blinking. Be creative! Lip syncing is fine c: - A good central theme for this MAP is DANCING. (**if you've read this put a type of food in your comment**) It doesn't have to be complicated or stylistic, it doesn't even necessarily have to be good dancing (maybe your character is an awful dancer? :P). This theme is just a good one to keep in mind when doing the "constant motion" rule. - Please only animate on sprites, and have a limited number of them (2-4?). If you want to use multiple sprites so you can animate little sparks or bouncing shapes that's totally cool. Go crazy! - You don't even necessarily have to animate a character of yours. They're all silhouettes, maybe you just want to animate a random dog or something? :P - Follow the provided color palette (**put a color in your comment if you've read this**). Bonus points for having your characters change color to the beat! (not required though haha) - But speaking of changing colors, no wild flashing please. Keep in mind that this can be harmful for certain individuals and I personally just find it annoying to look at X'D - No text, it's distracting. - And finally, please don't add a watermark with your username. (last code - if you don't have 3 including this one you need to go back and read more thoroughly - **if you've read this put a type of animal in your comment**) If you want to put it in a different sprite that's fine, but I'll just delete it for the full MAP. (Don't worry, I'll add them all in myself) Aaaand that's all folks! If you don't have THREE codewords by now, go back and read the rules again! I know I write a lot, but it's all important and relevant to keeping the MAP consistent
