Ok these are some tips when creating your own clan; since I am creating one called winterclan I have ways to make a family tree and make them look kind of related. 1: use similar or the same colors or patterns as family members in that tree 2: for colors pick three colors that look like a Similar or realistic color of a cat or, it doesn’t need to be exactly that color. 3: pick one or two designs that look nice with your color choices here are some examples such as light blue gray with bengal spots or orange with tabby stripes 4: when I’m using procreate, the drawing app I use, I normally duplicate one of the parents and change the color and pattern a bit.
