STORY: Jem screamed for his mother as Greatpaws dragged him away. (( Greatpaws are humans )) She was being held back, then put in a cage. "JEM! NO!" She yelled, terrified. She was forced to watch as they dragged her son away. The other dogs of her pack were also being dragged away. She remembered what had gotten them into this. Her. She mewed frantically and tried to do what she had done before; She had talked in the Greatpaws' toungue, and she remembered making allies with them. She remembered she had told them, "My family is in trouble!" Then racing off to the pack. They had recently been attacked by other dogs, and barely survived. *Later, in animal shelter* Jem looked through the wire cages to see a brown cat with red eyes. He smiled and the cat said, "I will help you out, if you agree." Little did the cat know Jem was half dog. The cat's paws turned a creamier color, like Jem, and Jem's pads turned to a darker color, like the cat. Jem's eyes were blue, but the shines were red.
