- X exited the building, they had been learning how to walk recently thanks to the help of Astro and the crew. It had been a few weeks since X had been introduced to here and saved by Astro, and Astro had basically adopted X. X had been learning what crewmates and impostors were, and they had learned from the doctor that they could not speak due to irreparable damages to their vocal cords, luckily they could still scream, but they were heavily advised not too, as they could break their vocal cords and loose all ability to speak or scream. X was learning sign language, and was given a device to be able to speak their mind, how it worked was a small tablet they would type on and then press enter and a robotic voice would say what they wrote down. X had also been diagnosed with amnesia, and hopefully could recover their memory soon. - X was strolling around Polus, Astro had to go to specimen and the last time X was there they had knocked over every test tube and literally anything on a table. Willow was NOT happy about that. X paused, there was a white figure in front of them, they walked towards the figure, which then the figure turned around in a quick flash, they had grey horns and a halo, and a similar black band across their leg, but the most unusual was the large scar across the crewmates face, there was two of them and it looked like someone had scarred their face, the figure grabbed X, X couldn’t escape nor make noise, the figures eye was glowing, suddenly flames consumed the figure. It was all so fast. Then X woke up. They were passed out on the ground, Salv and Lumita were over them, talking about something, but X couldn’t make it out, there was loud ringing in their ears as they groggily opened their eye, which Salv swooped them up in a panic. “OH MY GOD X! A-ARE YOU OKAY? WE JUST FOUND YOU LIKE THIS AND YOU WERE CRYING AND YOU LOOKED HURT AND I DIDNT KNOW WHAT TO DO SO I GOT LUMITA AND- OH GOD IM JUST SO HAPPY YOURE OKAY! You are okay right?” Salv was speaking a mile a minute, her words slowly becoming clearer to X, X nodded their head, they were okay, at least they thought they were, they didn’t feel any pain. Who was that. And why did X feel like they were familiar. …everything feels so specific. - X went to bed, in a small crib in Astros room, Astro was snoring away, his hat still on, but X lay wide awake, the scarred figure flashed in their mind, why did they remember this person? They felt like they had seen them before, and they looked so… similar. X was too tired to keep themselves up with questions as they closed their eye and sank into the darkness. - End of Chapter 5
