What it is for me Anxiety is something I get a lot. It’s a feeling or your body’s reaction to stress. For me, I get a pounding in my ear, sweating, deep stabs of fear, and I become unable to move. Coping My coping strategies include: Drawing Listening to music Talking to my family/close friends Wearing a weighted blanked Grounding exercises Grounding exercises Look around the room and spot, scent, feel, and hear five things around you. If you’re in a bed, is the mattress firm, or soft? Is it quiet where you can only hear your own breath, or is there other noises around you? It’s ok to be not ok. It’s alright to ask for help. Your feelings are completely valid. (I used this as a coping mechanism for myself since I was having some very bad anxiety, and it helped quite a lot. Feel free to do this too. <3) (Note to the ST if they are going to take this down: Hello there! I am sincerely asking you not to take this project down for mentioning anxiety. I personally think it’s important for people to be able to share their experiences with other people to relate and understand each other. I know scratch is supposed to be a happy place, but every human being in the entire universe has bad emotions. Why would you get rid of apart of who someone is, their emotions?
