Now, I know you'll eventually get bored from reading all of this, but I ask you, please try to at least understand what I'm getting at. Also, don't let what im saying change how you view things because I don't know everything so take it with a grain of salt. So, I get asked this question a lot: "How are you both BI but you're a Christian? Isn't that going against, like, everything?" And yes, it is but it's a lot more than that. You see, being gay or bi or any other sexuality in general besides being straight is a form of adultery and as Leviticus 18:22 states: “You must not lie with a man as with a woman; that is an abomination.” (And vice versa) Now that verse in itself is what a lot of people use as a objection to homosexuality. And they're right, it's a form of adultery or, lust more commonly known. HOWEVER!!!! Looking through my study bible my dad got me, the articles and resources section has a article on homosexuality. And although it does state that homosexuality is a sin, it also has a subheading labeled, "Christ's solution to homosexuality and sin" which basically states that the solution to all sin is forgivable through Jesus Christ for he is god. And as Corinthians 6:11 states, "And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." Which means that through Christ we are washed away from sin. Now this doesn't mean just because we were washed of sin with the blood of Christ that it will stop all sinful urges and as Jeremiah 17:9 states, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?” Which means the heart is wicked by nature (But that does not mean you should use it as an excuse for your actions because you have free will over yourself. But I will explain why you'll be forgiven when I talk about John 3:16) Now, I'm not going to explain WHY I'm bisexual, but I will explain my denomination. I am a non-denominational Christian (otherwise known as a Baptist because they're both the same thing) And unlike denominations like Catholicism and Mormon, I'm not bound to certain beliefs and obligations because as John 3:16 states, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life." Now, since I am Baptist, I have the free will to do things that some other denominations don't allow you to do (Which is okay) Because as Corinthians 10:13 States: Galatians 5:13: “You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love.” Which means you were given free will, but do not use it for sin and enjoyment and enjoyment in sin (Which goes back to my sexuality and then it leads back to Corinthians 6:11) Now, from the Atheist's perspective, I can assume this is a lot and more complicated than one might expect. But that's the point. You're supposed to learn when God comes to you and asks you to sit down with him so he can show you salvation in himself. Because you're supposed to build a relationship with god. Now, cutting off topic here. I've seen some LGBTQ+ members try to incorrectly excuse themselves from their sinful ways. Take the "Queen James bible" for example, it's basically the KJV version of the holy bible except they changed a few verses so that they can excuse their sinful ways. Now, let's make this clear: YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO CHANGE THE BIBLE TO YOUR LIKING ITS GODS WORD NOT YOURS!!!!!! ITS NOT LIKE THE BILL OF RIGHTS YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO CHANGE IT TO REMOVE BILLS AND GIVE RIGHTS!!!! THERE WILL BE PEOPLE WHO TRY TO MANIPULATE YOU TO THINK A CERTAIN WAY. DONT JUST LET ANYTHING ENTER YOUR HEAD!!!!! Anyways, that's all I'll say about that. If you made it this far, I'm so thankful you sat down and read this. I put a lot of effort into this, and I appreciate you taking the time to listen to me and let me share my beliefs. The internet is a place full of people trying to silence others just because they believe certain things and I'm glad I could share mine with you :) If you have any questions or just want to argue with me, please do so in the comments or on my profile. Have a good day. I love you. Gods with you
