His (adopted) mom taught him how to bake and he became very good at it at a very young age. When Emmer was older he started working at a cafe, although the manager wasn't the nicest and the workers were very underpaid. Many employees (including Emmer) soon quit and the cafe went out of business. Later his friends convinced him to buy the old place where the cafe was and he started a bakery!
