Bottles of Happiness I open the bottle: The bottle of memories. Nostalgia washes over me, I remember being but a child. I remember the early mornings, right before school. The smell of dew on the front yard grass Overwhelms me. I close the bottle. I open another bottle: The bottle of dreams. Waves of memories fill my head. I remember the nights, The good and the bad. I remember the grogginess I would feel, Waking up in the morning. The hopes I had before Overwhelm me. I close the bottle. I open the last bottle: The bottle of friendship. Tears fill my eyes. I remember the happiness I felt, When we would talk together. I remember the comfort they gave me, When I was upset. But they aren’t here anymore. Feelings of depression and longingness to be a child once more, Overwhelm me. I close the bottle.
