the dzje gridclose Updates: Special discussion on how to make towers more visually interesting instead of just numbers Tower discussion: make taller towers darker - @thepotato82 would probably turn black at some point but yeah. might cause confusion for people whose coloers are the same but different brightness - @dzje make taller towers have different borders - @thepotato82 what about increasing brightness yellow (or somehting else if your coloer is yellow like sb_alt), this would allow unique towers up to level 100 - @dzje. taller towers could have different color text (for instance, 100 tile tall towers could have gold text) - @thepotato82 Owner: dzje Rules: "grey" means brightness 90 saturation 0. It can be used to join but cannot be invaded by existing remixers. 0. All Scratch rules apply. 1. When remixing, edit the slide of the grid. Costumes used to be preserved but people are pathetic so they didn't bother. The last remix with costumes is here: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/958837371 2. When joining, you can claim a 25-tile area out of any adjacent grey or white spaces. It must be next to someone else starting from remix 290. You can't join on an alt account unless your other account is eliminated. 3. If this is not your first remix, you can expand. To do this, replace one (1) white or claimed tile with your own to take it over. 4. Alternatively, you can tower on your own tile. Add a number 2, or increase this number if the tile already has a tower. This also counts towards your score. Tower tiles need their number decreasing (-1 every remix) before they can be conquered. 5. If you are going to be inactive, lock your nation by adding a ! over your name and score. This stops you from being attacked. Locks can last up to 12 consecutive hours and have a 4 hour cooldown. Remixing during a lock ends it, and adds the rest of the lock's time to the cooldown. 6. If you lose all of your tiles you are eliminated. You cannot rejoin on that account. 7. You can give your tiles to other Scratchers, including those not yet in the chain. You can also turn them white, but not grey. This can eliminate you. 8. Remixes that break the rules should be ignored. If you can cite repeated and deliberate breaking of the rules you can eliminate someone instantly. 9. The first person to comment claims the canon remix for 15 minutes unless they say otherwise. If their time is up, the next comment after them gets the canon remix. 10. You cannot claim again if your time runs out, but if everyone's time runs out and nobody has remixed then the first remix is official. You cannot claim future remixes. You cannot claim for other people. 11. You do not have to follow any system (such as megasystem) for your score. It can be anything. 12. You cannot use white. You cannot use grey with brightness greater than 75. 13. Since there is no owner, theoretically anyone can edit the rules. You don't have to accept a remix that edits rules even if it should be the canon remix. It is advised that you discuss rule changes with other remixers first. 14. The remix chain theoretically can never end as there are still valid actions that can be performed after only 2 people remain. However, if all existing remixers agree to end the chain, then it is officially over. 15. You cannot remix yourself. 16. dzje is the owner. Only dzje can change this. 17. You can add sprites, or add things to a slide, as long as they do not obstruct the grid (or are hidden by default) You can add scripts, but scripts that make the project unusable are not allowed, and scripts that obstruct the grid or are unpleasant cannot run on flag click for other people. You can add sounds. You can change the music script to only play a sound you want to play. Discussion: Discution: Unions: Unions are made up of multiple users that own the same color tile, But their score is not combined. This means they can go through one anothers tile to get to another place. This could cause confusion but because of the state of the area its fine for now - @dubstepv1 support with combined score - @dzje towering should have a limit of like 5 so it wouldnt take hundreds of remixes to take a single tile (and get invaded in the process) -sb_alt no. people said "add towers" all the time in gridremix. this is what you wanted. - @dzje ok but someones tower shouldnt be like hundreds of tiles because how are you supposed to completely invade them without your remixes constantly being just changing someones tower tile number by one thats just going to make the defender (the one with the tower) OP -sb_alt it isnt any more OP than someone having a huge landmass - dzje can i delete this discussion to save room in the instructions - @thepotato82
