Instructions

So, this is what I found out yesterday. One of my favorite childhood shows was shelved five years ago. Right now, I'm watching Hi-5 videos because it's been such an amazing part of my childhood. If you don't know what Hi-5 is, think of it as the Spice Girls for children. Hi-5 was an Australian children's musical group formed in 1998 in association with the children's television series of the same name. Helena Harris and Posie Graeme-Evans created the television series for the Nine Network, which premiered in 1999. The group was made up of five performers who entertained and educated preschool children through music, movement and play. There's a lot of history with this band, and it was adored by lots of fans around the world, including yours truly. I'm sad to hear that the brand was shelved, but the memories they left behind will always put a smile on my face. I'll also be posting a special project on April 12th, when the first series aired 25 years ago. (Am I considered a child for still watching kids shows?)
