I had finally convinced Bat to let me help him down after his foot started to get infected. As soon as I cut the rope out of his foot, we heard the others fighting. Some dogs came from nowhere and restrained the others, making it easy for humans to get them. I tried to help Bat away, but they got us, too. I tried to fight them off, but the humans got their knives out and used them on us. Bat got it a lot worse than me. If it got any deeper, I think his guts would hang out of his body. I hate to say it like that, but it's the best I could say it. I tried to help him, but he wanted nothing to do with it. I laid it out for him: either let me help him or he'd bleed out. Turns out Bat is extremely squeamish and untrusting, and the only cats he really trusted in the group were Sparks and Tucker. I stopped the bleeding of his wound and told him not to mess with it. Later, the rest of the group was in cages and stuck in the back of the truck we were in. I was enraged at the fact that those dumb mutts hurt Tucker, but he was fine. Currently, the truck is driving, and it hasn't stopped. It feels like there are others with us, but it's pitch black, and they won't speak. Dub says that they're going in the general direction of where we need to go. I'm worried about Bat since he still doesn't look okay. Lo and behold: Bat also has car sickness. I wonder what else this coward is queasy or afraid of.
