Narrator: There was once a magical fairy kingdom hidden deep within the forest. Only those who believed in magic could find their way to it. The fairy kingdom was full of beautiful gardens, crystal-clear streams, and lush trees that towered over everything. It was a place where anything could happen; where magic and wonder were everyday occurrences. The kingdom was ruled by a wise and kind queen, who was loved by all her subjects. The kingdom was a very happy place. There was a village near this magical kingdom. There in the village lived Veronica, the orphan. Veronica was adopted by an evil family, who were very cruel to her. Mom: Veronica! Get down here you pesky fool! Veronica: Coming! Mom: I told you we were eating dinner at 5:00 and for you to be down here at 5:00. Do you know what time it is? Veronica(Shamefully): 5:02 Mom: Exactly. Veronica: I’m sorry, it will never happen again. Mom: Now, sit down and eat. Narrator: This was Veronica’s everyday life. But, Veronica never lost hope in her family. She always looked on the bright side of things. Veronica: Look mother! Mom: What is it now? Veronica: Look what I drew! Isn’t it lovely? Mom: No, it’s ugly. Stop wasting your time with that and help me make dinner. Veronica: Yes ma'am. Narrator: One day, Veronica was exploring the forest and found a weird door. Veronica: What’s this? Narrator: Veronica opened the door and stepped inside the magical fairy kingdom! Singing flowers in the background. Veronica: Wow! Are those flowers singing! Lamb: Yes they are! Veronica: Ahh! Who said that? Lamb: I did miss. Veronica: You did? But you’re a lamb! Lamb: I am indeed a lamb. Why wouldn’t I talk? Veronica: I don’t know. Whooshing sound. Olea: Hello dear. Veronica: You’re a fairy! Olea: I am a fairy. You’re a human! Veronica: I am indeed! This place is amazing! Lamb: Yes it is! It’s wonderful! Narrator: Veronica and her two new friends, Olea and Lamb, went on to explore the kingdom. Soon, it got dark. Olea: It’s best you go home now Veronica. Veronica: I don’t want to go home! I love it here! I…I…hate it there! I can’t stand it! They are so cruel and evil! Lamb: Let’s take you to see the queen, maybe she’ll let you stay here forever! Flower 2: The Queen is really nice, she’ll probably let you stay! Veronica: Really? Flower 1: Yeah, she’s amazing! Flower 3: Now you better hurry up and go see her! Veronica: Okay, thank you! Let’s go! Narrator: And so, the three friends went on their journey to see the queen. Soon, they arrived at the magnificent castle. Veronica: Wow! Olea: Right? It’s amazing! Lamb: Now let's go see the queen! Narrator: They went inside the castle and at the entrance were met by a butler. Butler: What brings you here? Veronica: I’m here to ask the queen to stay here forever. Butler: Right this way. Narrator: The butler led them to the throne room. In the throne room sat the queen. Olea: There she is, in person! Lamb: This is amazing! Veronica: Your majesty, I’m here to ask you to stay in your kingdom forever. Narrator: The queen stands up and walks toward Veronica. The queen then held out her hand, offering Veronica a small crystal that glimmered like a rainbow. Queen: I sense true magic inside you. This crystal is a piece of fairy magic. It will always remind you of the magic you have within. Narrator: Suddenly, Veronica felt a warm glow inside her, and as she looked up, she saw that a pair of shimmering wings had grown on her back. Veronica: Wow! Narrator: Veronica hugged the queen, and her and Olea flew out of the castle joyfully and lamb trotted behind them as they left the castle.
