Chapter 1: Lilac The sun was shining the waves were crashing the birds were singing everything seemed perfect. Except it wasn't. You see ever since Lilac moved away from her hometown in Alaska, something just seemed, off. As if there was an emptiness inside her that couldn't be filled. She missed the snow and the mountains and the wildlife, but most of all, she missed her friends. While she was thinking of her previous home it was hard for Lilac to appreciate the warm sand, comfortable temperature, and the salty sweet sea air. While Lilac did like them very much they just weren't the same as Alaska. Alaska had snowy mountains, cold snow, and her friends. She really missed them. Lilacs friends Jenny Mark and Kenneth always helped her out whenever she needed it. When she had trouble with a school essay they helped her. When her kitten got lost they helped her find it. When she got stuck in a tree they helped her. They even helped her when she encountered bears and bullies. They always had her back. Lilac herself was also a very helpful person. She fed wild animals like birds and stray cats. She helped her parents with the household chores. She even helped her friends when they needed someone to talk to. Everyone always liked to be in her company. Lilac had copper blonde hair olive colored skin and striking amber eyes. (Let me know in the comments what you think about my terrible writting skills)
The story is in the instructions The names where randomly chosen. I chose Alaska because I did an essay about it in 4th grade. The picture is sooo good because it matches the topic and it actually makes a pretty good banner.
