Instructions

the dzje gridclose Owner: no Rules: "grey" means brightness 90 saturation 0. It can be used to join but cannot be invaded by existing remixers. 0. All Scratch rules apply. 1. Make a new costume in the grid sprite when remixing. Costumes older than 5 remixes can be bitmapped at any time. Every 100 remixes, remove all the old costumes to improve project loading times. This is so making a timelapse is easy. 2. When joining, you can claim a 25-tile area out of any adjacent grey or white spaces. You can't join on an alt account unless your other account is eliminated. 3. If this is not your first remix, you can expand. To do this, replace one (1) white or claimed tile with your own to take it over. 4. Alternatively, you can tower on your own tile. Add a number 2, or increase this number if the tile already has a tower. This also counts towards your score. Tower tiles need their number decreasing (-1 every remix) before they can be conquered. 5. If you are going to be inactive, lock your nation by adding a ! over your name and score. This stops you from being attacked. Locks can last up to 8 consecutive hours and have a 4 hour cooldown. Remixing during a lock ends it, and adds the rest of the lock's time to the cooldown. 6. If you lose all of your tiles you are eliminated. You cannot rejoin on that account. 7. You can give your tiles to other Scratchers, including those not yet in the chain. You can also turn them white, but not grey. This can eliminate you. 8. Remixes that break the rules should be ignored. If you can cite repeated and deliberate breaking of the rules you can eliminate someone instantly. 9. The first person to comment claims the canon remix for 15 minutes unless they say otherwise. If their time is up, the next comment after them gets the canon remix. 10. You cannot claim again if your time runs out, but if everyone's time runs out and nobody has remixed then the first remix is official. You cannot claim future remixes. You cannot claim for other people. 11. You do not have to follow any system (such as megasystem) for your score. It can be anything. 12. You cannot use white. You cannot use grey with brightness greater than 75. 13. Since there is no owner, theoretically anyone can edit the rules. You don't have to accept a remix that edits rules even if it should be the canon remix. It is advised that you discuss rule changes with other remixers first. 14. The remix chain theoretically can never end as there are still valid actions that can be performed after only 2 people remain. However, if all existing remixers agree to end the chain, then it is officially over. 15. You cannot remix yourself.
