SO for some clarification, Corbeau is a Genshin Impact OC i made. Female, she/her, polearm user, electro vision. (Now that i think of her, shes similar to Clorinde. NOOOO) the third artwork is a skin. She likes watching the magic shows Click to see the artwork Anyways her backstory is very long. You wanna hear it? (You must, it explains the character and also the last artwork) Corbeau is not from Teyvat. In fact she fell from somewhere high; Celestia. In her homeland, she was considered a cursed child, and they threw her to the world below. She lost many of her powers and strength, and her age was reversed in a way. When she landed in Teyvat, she was at the age of 5. She had landed in Liyue, where she would reside for a bit. While exploring, she met Il Dottore. She blurted out where she came from, and it gained Dottore’s interest. He would take care of her, but in reality, she would be his favorite test subject. She would run constant endurance tests, and would feel much pain and gain trauma. It was to the point where she started considering taking her own life. She was with Dottore for 2 years. Of course, she attempted escape several times,(sort of succeeded. Was able to get away but eventually got caught) and one of them was the way she met her very first friend; Hokuto (They are another OC, made by my irl friend) They bonded over the fact that both of them hated their lives. She made her spear using electro crystals, marble, and noctilous jade. (She’s strong enough to wield it like a regular spear, and its hollow) she was able to fend off Dottore for a bit, which was when she was 11. She then asked Hokuto to journey everywhere to question the Archons, so she could challenge Celestia. Hokuto, with nowhere to go, accepted. As they where about to leave Liyue, an Abyss mage blocked their path, and the two fought. Hokuto earned her pyro vision, but Corbeau didn’t get one. They continued to journey, however with no real map they ended in Fontaine, where a rapid river swept Hokuto. Corbeau barely managed to save her. When Corbeau dragged Hokuto back to land, she received a vision. It came to Corbeau that it sounded a bit selfish to drag her friend with her, so the two parted. Corbeau and Hokuto first traveled all the way back to Liyue, where Hokuto would be safe. Then, after getting a proper map, Corbeau restarted her journey. She first arrived at Inazuma, where she met Kunikuzuchi. She befriended him, and made a promise that she wouldn’t die on him. (She was joking) However Scara took this seriously, and she met Ei. (No actual good advice/info) Then she traveled to Sumeru, and was able to talk to Nahida. Nahida gave somewhat useful information. Now we go to Fontaine. Corbeau has put her mission on hold, as she gets into the enticing mora ;) She becomes a theif and an assasin for hire. Constantly forced into the Fortress of Meropide, but she always finds a way to escape. She’s pretty good at battling in the Pankration Ring. All this time, though, she has a special ability of building up her consciousness. Few people can enter this consciousness, like Wrio. *See 4th artwork* (Continued below)
(Continued here) Some time has passed. Corbeau is currently 23 years. She genuinely believes she should start leading a good life in Fontaine. She starts working as security for Wrio and the Fortress of Meropide. Mess up too many times, you get choke-slammed. She later joins Chevruse because she feels like she needs to do more for the people of Fontaine. Wrio feels betrayed. She didnt mean it though. They later make up and happily ever after, you’re in the present! EDIT: Corbeau almost never eats and sleeps. She’s only ate apples for an entire 4 years of her life until Traveler was able to convince her to go to a restraunt together. Never slept two days straight.
