This is a two player game. Please read all instructions before playing. Click green flag. Then, enter the nicknames of the players. P1(Green Car): W=forward, A=left, S=backwards, D=right. P2(Purple Car): up key=forward, left key=left, down key=backward, right key=right, Collect more gems than your opponent before time runs out. Avoid snowballs and falling off the track. You can also push the other player off the track or into snowballs.
Created for TEEN Game Design Class. Credits to the book: "Coding Games in Scratch," Pages 166-185, for the basis of coding. I changed the spawn chance of the gems from 1 in 20 to 1 in 30 every game loop. I changed the gems so that they only spawn on the road. The penguin sprite belongs to the Scratch Library. The crystal sprite also belongs to the Scratch Library, but I made crystal green instead of purple. All sounds also belongs to the Scratch Library. Everything else, although in the book, is my artwork. I changed the red and blue cars so that they are green and purple respectively. I made the trees along the road.
