Attempts at poetic names? On MY dta? More likely than you think— Hello once more my lovely little school of minnows, it's been a hot minute since I posted anything and today miraculously decided, "hey, i'm almost at 500, i really need to get my 400 event done before i get to the other stuff". So, finally, after months of putting it off, here's that long awaited 400+ dta, and, by technicality, the second batch of the rotating dta i released at 100 (how the numbers tick up, huh?) - Table of Contents - I - What's a DTA? II - Rules, guidelines III - Designs IV - FAQ V - Pinglist - What's a DTA? - To get this out of the way really fast, a DTA is an event in which you draw the character or design you want out of the presented, and when the deadline passes, the host (me) decides who wins the design, hence the acronym "DTA", "Draw To Adopt". - Rules, Guidelines - As per every contest, there are rules. Breaking them will have your entry disqualified and continued breakage of the rules will have you banned from participating in any related events I host in the future. - No tracing, AI, straight up stolen art, etc - Be respectful in your entry! - Keep the character recognisable in your entry - Do not use the design you're entering for outside of the contest until/unless you have won it - Finish your entry by Febuary 29, and please do not make any changes after that (THAT IS THE DUE DATE) - Your entry must be a remix - Just have common sense You do not have to directly break these rules to have your entry disqualified, I can remove you from the contest if I see it fit. (Don't worry though, the bar isn't that high) - Designs - 1 - Snowburdened (moth) 2 - Skyseeker (dragon) - FAQ - —Q: Can I humanise/anthropomorphise the design I'm entering for? A: Yes, as long as it remains recognisable and isn't blatantly disrespectful/weird —Q: What is the due date? A: Febuary 29, there is no set date for when the results come out —Q: Can I enter? A: Anyone can enter regardless of experience or level of friendship, no need to ask! —Q: What happens if I want to remove my entry? A: That's totally fine! I recommend letting me know beforehand, and then unsharing the project so that there won't be any messups in judging —Q: Can I win more than one/both designs? A: You can, but I'm heavily favouring only winning one - Pinglist - If you'd like, you can be asked to be pinged when there's another batch for this DTA.
